THE SNOW QUEEN

 

            Director Hilary Coleman worked with five performers to adapt Hans Christian Andersen’s well-known story (the writing of which had been ‘sheer joy; it came dancing out over the paper.’)

 

            Gerda’s search for her missing friend Kai is an archetypal hero quest story. On her way she encounters robbers, reindeer, ravens, a lot of cold weather, the horrors of theme parks and some fairly devastating flowers!

 

            Come fill up your glasses and let us be merry

            For to rob and to plunder it is our intent

            As we roam through the valley
