Emma has been a member of Bedlam since 1990 and is a company co-director. She trained at the Hub Theatre School, St Austell. She works for the company in a variety of capacities: actor, writer, workshop leader, fundraiser and administrator. Her play The Governor of Sombrero Rock toured the south west to great success in spring 1999. This was followed by Axe for the Frozen Sea, a play loosely based on the life and works of Franz Kafka, written in his own style. The production toured nationally during 2002 and, after further development, in 2003 to huge critical acclaim. She is currently writing the company's next production, scheduled for 2007.
